Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Commercial Service And Supplies and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 2.58% or 9.00 points to trade at 357.80 at the close. Meanwhile, P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 1.26% or 5.80 points to end at 466.00 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.22% or 0.7 points to 56.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 3.84% or 9.50 points to trade at 237.80 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 2.91% or 1.17 points to end at 39.04 and Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) was down 2.51% or 0.10 points to 3.88.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 97 to 74 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.33% or 0.22 to $66.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.66% or 0.50 to hit $76.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1301.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.21% to 9.4375, while USD/NOK fell 0.54% to 8.0089.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 93.59.
