Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Software & Computer Services and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.34% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 1.43% or 3.3 points to trade at 234.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 0.88% or 0.4 points to end at 47.1 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was up 0.65% or 0.90 points to 138.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 8.57% or 0.33 points to trade at 3.56 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 8.35% or 2.79 points to end at 30.61 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was down 3.69% or 7.5 points to 195.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 115 to 61 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) fell to all time lows; losing 8.57% or 0.33 to 3.56.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.40% or 0.19 to $47.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $49.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.11% or 14.18 to trade at $1296.88 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.37% to 9.5428, while USD/NOK rose 0.24% to 8.4690.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 96.56.
