Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 6.05% or 12.90 points to trade at 226.10 at the close. Meanwhile, P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 3.98% or 12.70 points to end at 331.50 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was up 3.84% or 7.5 points to 202.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which fell 4.55% or 1.74 points to trade at 36.47 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) declined 4.47% or 5.70 points to end at 121.70 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was down 3.82% or 4.3 points to 109.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 101 to 83 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.54% or 1.13 to $43.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.26% or 1.06 to hit $45.85 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.16 to trade at $1245.54 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.45% to 9.5215, while USD/NOK rose 0.71% to 8.5625.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 97.50.
