Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Diversified Financials, Banking and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 5.23% or 2.65 points to trade at 53.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 3.28% or 0.230 points to end at 7.240 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 2.74% or 1.18 points to 44.27 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aker ASA (OL:AKER), which fell 3.75% or 23.0 points to trade at 590.0 at the close. TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) declined 3.47% or 8.1 points to end at 225.4 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 3.45% or 1.29 points to 36.08.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 107 to 101 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nel ASA (OL:NEL) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 3.28% or 0.230 to 7.240. Shares in Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.45% or 1.29 to 36.08.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.44% or 0.28 to $63.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.73% or 0.52 to hit $72.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.45 to trade at $1284.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.03% to 9.6786, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 8.6289.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 97.230.
