Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Materials and Capital Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 7.66% or 3.13 points to trade at 44.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 1.99% or 0.27 points to end at 13.60 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was up 1.80% or 4.50 points to 254.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 3.34% or 1.85 points to trade at 53.55 at the close. BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO) declined 1.88% or 1.000 points to end at 52.100 and Elkem ASA (OL:ELK) was down 1.69% or 0.42 points to 24.46.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 118 to 93 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $57.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.50% or 0.95 to hit $64.25 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.43% or 20.35 to trade at $1400.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.46% to 9.6705, while USD/NOK rose 1.05% to 8.6205.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 96.928.
