Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which rose 3.11% or 0.12 points to trade at 3.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 2.84% or 2.55 points to end at 92.30 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 2.50% or 1.4 points to 55.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Finans Holding ASA (OL:NOFI), which fell 3.48% or 3.25 points to trade at 90.25 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 2.01% or 0.73 points to end at 35.63 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was down 1.77% or 0.96 points to 53.32.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 91 to 83 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.51% or 0.34 to $66.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $76.44 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.80 to trade at $1301.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.30% to 9.4500, while USD/NOK fell 0.34% to 8.0163.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 93.53.
