Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 1.24% or 0.15 points to trade at 12.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) added 1.20% or 4.1 points to end at 347.1 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) was up 1.20% or 1.6 points to 134.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 8.02% or 0.09 points to trade at 1.07 at the close. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) declined 2.68% or 2.20 points to end at 80.00 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was down 2.51% or 0.90 points to 34.89.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 92 to 75 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.24% or 0.15 to 12.25.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.75% or 0.86 to $48.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.48% or 0.26 to hit $54.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.39 to trade at $1352.69 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.24% to 9.3202, while USD/NOK rose 0.09% to 7.7404.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 91.25.
