Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO), which rose 2.94% or 1.300 points to trade at 45.500 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) added 2.49% or 4.3 points to end at 179.4 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was up 2.44% or 1.32 points to 55.42 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which fell 6.76% or 7.90 points to trade at 109.00 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 6.05% or 26.80 points to end at 416.00 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was down 5.26% or 3.50 points to 63.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 116 to 91 and 31 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.49% or 4.3 to 179.4.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.15% or 0.09 to $58.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $67.18 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 7.35 to trade at $1302.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.15% to 9.6713, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 8.5432.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 96.580.
