Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Commercial Service And Supplies and Food, Beverages & Tobacco sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP), which rose 6.46% or 10.00 points to trade at 162.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) added 1.65% or 1.00 points to end at 61.58 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was up 1.09% or 2.0 points to 185.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which fell 5.07% or 4.20 points to trade at 78.65 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) declined 4.69% or 18.10 points to end at 367.90 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was down 3.94% or 0.04 points to 1.02.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 105 to 67 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.00% or 0.52 to $52.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.34% or 0.77 to hit $58.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.80 to trade at $1277.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.03% to 9.4057, while USD/NOK fell 0.15% to 7.9930.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.78.
