Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which rose 2.21% or 0.25 points to trade at 11.35 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 2.07% or 12.50 points to end at 615.00 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFG) was up 1.44% or 2.60 points to 183.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL), which fell 3.01% or 4.20 points to trade at 135.50 at the close. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) declined 2.01% or 5.40 points to end at 263.10 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL) was down 1.64% or 0.10 points to 6.12.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 149 to 131 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.17% or 0.89 to $74.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.97% or 0.77 to hit $78.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 11.10 to trade at $2,436.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.44% to 11.85, while USD/NOK fell 0.32% to 10.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 104.48.
