Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Materials and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 3.05% or 0.260 points to trade at 8.780 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 2.64% or 1.22 points to end at 47.38 and Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) was up 2.01% or 1.79 points to 90.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which fell 4.61% or 18.70 points to trade at 386.70 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 3.47% or 0.63 points to end at 17.38 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was down 3.34% or 1.18 points to 34.39.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 108 to 104 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nel ASA (OL:NEL) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 3.05% or 0.260 to 8.780.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.03% or 1.91 to $61.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.05% or 1.48 to hit $70.70 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.45 to trade at $1274.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.07% to 9.7651, while USD/NOK fell 0.06% to 8.7527.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 97.898.
