Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 1.35% or 4.80 points to trade at 361.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 0.88% or 0.050 points to end at 5.730 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) was up 0.77% or 1.2 points to 157.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 2.58% or 1.20 points to trade at 45.38 at the close. Aker ASA (OL:AKER) declined 2.20% or 11.1 points to end at 494.4 and BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO) was down 2.19% or 1.200 points to 53.500.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 121 to 90 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.26% or 0.15 to $57.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.10% or 0.71 to hit $63.74 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.30% or 18.15 to trade at $1418.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.18% to 9.6669, while USD/NOK fell 0.09% to 8.4872.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 95.567.
