Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 3.47% or 0.08 points to trade at 2.33 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) added 2.91% or 0.30 points to end at 10.62 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) was up 1.67% or 21.00 points to 1,276.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI), which fell 6.14% or 3.85 points to trade at 58.85 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) declined 1.68% or 4.30 points to end at 252.20 and Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) was down 1.45% or 4.15 points to 281.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 143 to 132 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.95% or 1.51 to $75.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.60% or 1.29 to hit $79.50 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 21.25 to trade at $2,727.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.21% to 11.78, while USD/NOK fell 1.05% to 11.33.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.04% at 108.07.
