Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Diversified Financials and Capital Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Storebrand ASA (OL:STB), which rose 1.04% or 0.68 points to trade at 66.12 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) added 1.01% or 1.6 points to end at 165.0 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was up 0.95% or 0.64 points to 67.66 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA), which fell 8.41% or 39.80 points to trade at 433.60 at the close. BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO) declined 8.28% or 3.950 points to end at 43.750 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL) was down 5.34% or 0.280 points to 4.984.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 114 to 72 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.73% or 0.41 to $56.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.44% or 0.29 to hit $66.21 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.61% or 21.25 to trade at $1343.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.12% to 9.7223, while USD/NOK fell 0.48% to 8.5660.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 96.295.
