Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Auto & components, Telecoms and Media sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which rose 2.12% or 1.3 points to trade at 60.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 1.90% or 1.70 points to end at 90.95 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 1.17% or 2.00 points to 173.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 3.70% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.78 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) declined 1.72% or 5.00 points to end at 285.40 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was down 1.58% or 2.5 points to 159.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 96 to 80 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.08% or 1.43 to $70.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.07% or 0.80 to hit $75.56 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.40 to trade at $1221.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.14% to 9.5343, while USD/NOK fell 0.62% to 8.1387.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 94.09.
