Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Capital Goods and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 2.11% or 1.40 points to trade at 67.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 1.84% or 0.30 points to end at 16.63 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was up 1.22% or 0.75 points to 62.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which fell 5.39% or 0.56 points to trade at 9.82 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 3.18% or 1.16 points to end at 35.30 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was down 2.10% or 8.20 points to 381.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 104 to 68 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.22% or 0.75 to 62.30.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.54% or 0.28 to $51.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.84% or 0.48 to hit $57.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.09 to trade at $1305.69 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.24% to 9.3084, while USD/NOK fell 0.09% to 7.8826.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 92.99.
