Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Real Estate, Energy and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 9.80% or 3.83 points to trade at 42.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) added 4.63% or 7.9 points to end at 178.9 and Elkem ASA (OL:ELK) was up 2.22% or 0.50 points to 23.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Storebrand ASA (OL:STB), which fell 3.99% or 2.58 points to trade at 62.14 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) declined 2.15% or 1.68 points to end at 76.60 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was down 1.83% or 4.2 points to 225.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 108 to 92 and 38 ended unchanged.
Shares in Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) rose to all time highs; rising 4.63% or 7.9 to 178.9.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.43% or 0.26 to $60.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.56% or 0.37 to hit $66.89 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 6.35 to trade at $1413.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.12% to 9.6211, while USD/NOK rose 0.01% to 8.5395.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 96.475.
