Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Capital Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 4.02% or 3.25 points to trade at 84.10 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 1.75% or 4.10 points to end at 238.30 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 1.63% or 2.50 points to 155.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 4.46% or 8.5 points to trade at 182.0 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 4.36% or 0.46 points to end at 10.08 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 3.61% or 0.48 points to 12.82.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 115 to 63 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.18% or 0.10 to $56.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.44% or 0.28 to hit $63.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.37 to trade at $1278.57 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.45% to 9.5302, while USD/NOK rose 0.49% to 8.1753.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.47.
