Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Materials and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which rose 4.42% or 2.50 points to trade at 59.00 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 4.41% or 16.40 points to end at 388.60 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL) was up 3.34% or 0.240 points to 7.420 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO), which fell 3.75% or 2.050 points to trade at 52.650 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 3.34% or 0.47 points to end at 13.44 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was down 2.79% or 0.44 points to 15.34.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 128 to 77 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.13% or 1.85 to $57.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.61% or 1.70 to hit $63.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.30% or 18.05 to trade at $1407.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.09% to 9.6735, while USD/NOK fell 0.22% to 8.5609.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 96.238.
