Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO), which rose 3.17% or 3.90 points to trade at 127.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) added 2.94% or 0.33 points to end at 11.37 and Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) was up 2.86% or 1.75 points to 63.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 5.89% or 0.18 points to trade at 2.92 at the close. Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) declined 0.95% or 2.55 points to end at 266.70 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) was down 0.88% or 1.40 points to 158.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 150 to 113 and 36 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nel ASA (OL:NEL) fell to 5-year lows; falling 5.89% or 0.18 to 2.92.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.29% or 0.20 to $68.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.43% or 0.31 to hit $72.61 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.46 to trade at $2,663.34 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.21% to 11.67, while USD/NOK rose 0.26% to 11.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 106.15.
