Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Telecoms and Auto & components sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 2.92% or 2.55 points to trade at 90.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 2.50% or 1.5 points to end at 60.6 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was up 1.93% or 0.66 points to 34.88 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which fell 3.67% or 15.60 points to trade at 410.00 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 2.57% or 0.02 points to end at 0.78 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 1.41% or 1.15 points to 80.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 95 to 90 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.28% or 0.19 to $67.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $74.68 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 8.10 to trade at $1195.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.10% to 9.6815, while USD/NOK rose 0.35% to 8.3696.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 95.36.
