Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Auto & components, Transport and Capital Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.12% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA), which rose 3.86% or 3.63 points to trade at 97.56 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) added 2.10% or 3.7 points to end at 180.0 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 1.21% or 4.5 points to 375.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 6.56% or 0.560 points to trade at 7.975 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 5.53% or 2.34 points to end at 39.98 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 2.50% or 0.38 points to 14.64.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 149 to 73 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) rose to all time highs; rising 3.86% or 3.63 to 97.56. Shares in Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.53% or 2.34 to 39.98.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.22% or 1.82 to $54.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.32% or 2.17 to hit $63.16 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.35% or 17.40 to trade at $1304.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.13% to 9.7726, while USD/NOK fell 0.14% to 8.7569.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 97.762.
