Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Materials and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA), which rose 3.26% or 7.0 points to trade at 222.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 3.02% or 5.20 points to end at 177.25 and Statoil ASA (OL:STL) was up 0.98% or 1.8 points to 179.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which fell 3.45% or 10.80 points to trade at 302.00 at the close. Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) declined 3.19% or 0.22 points to end at 6.67 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was down 3.03% or 1.18 points to 37.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 101 to 78 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.03% or 0.63 to $60.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.37% or 0.24 to hit $64.71 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 7.80 to trade at $1328.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.32% to 9.5832, while USD/NOK fell 0.22% to 7.7249.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 89.58.
