Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Auto & components, Banking and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 6.72% or 0.460 points to trade at 7.225 at the close. Meanwhile, BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO) added 5.66% or 3.350 points to end at 62.500 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 2.85% or 1.60 points to 57.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 3.76% or 1.37 points to trade at 35.04 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) declined 2.56% or 7.1 points to end at 270.5 and Elkem ASA (OL:ELK) was down 1.83% or 0.42 points to 22.56.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 113 to 83 and 38 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.58% or 0.32 to $54.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.06% or 0.63 to hit $58.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 8.70 to trade at $1538.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.35% to 9.9865, while USD/NOK fell 0.15% to 9.1035.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 98.947.
