Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Materials and Auto & components sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MOWI), which rose 1.97% or 4.20 points to trade at 217.20 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 1.53% or 6.70 points to end at 444.30 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was up 1.49% or 0.64 points to 43.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 2.64% or 0.32 points to trade at 11.60 at the close. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) declined 2.05% or 2.0 points to end at 95.5 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was down 1.81% or 4.90 points to 265.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 113 to 99 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MOWI) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.97% or 4.20 to 217.20.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.98% or 0.59 to $59.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.37% or 0.25 to hit $66.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.85 to trade at $1414.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.04% to 9.6172, while USD/NOK rose 0.12% to 8.5412.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 96.553.
