Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Telecoms and Auto & components sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 3.87% or 0.57 points to trade at 15.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 2.70% or 6.90 points to end at 262.20 and Aker ASA (OL:AKER) was up 1.56% or 8.0 points to 520.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 2.19% or 1.00 points to trade at 45.00 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) declined 1.71% or 8.70 points to end at 499.80 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was down 1.37% or 0.86 points to 62.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 102 to 98 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.74% or 2.16 to $59.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 3.79% or 2.43 to hit $66.59 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 12.15 to trade at $1412.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.35% to 9.6601, while USD/NOK fell 0.78% to 8.5830.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 96.710.
