Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO), which rose 2.57% or 1.000 points to trade at 39.850 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) added 1.43% or 0.64 points to end at 45.50 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MOWI) was up 1.35% or 2.50 points to 187.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 4.93% or 0.93 points to trade at 17.82 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 1.74% or 7.60 points to end at 428.00 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was down 1.61% or 5.9 points to 360.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 94 to 94 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.56% or 0.82 to $51.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.54% or 0.95 to hit $60.73 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1289.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.34% to 9.7805, while USD/NOK rose 0.49% to 8.5195.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 95.170.
