Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Transport and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 10.10% or 0.11 points to trade at 1.21 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 5.01% or 8.8 points to end at 184.4 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was up 1.86% or 2.70 points to 147.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 4.68% or 11.4 points to trade at 232.0 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 3.67% or 1.37 points to end at 35.93 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was down 3.60% or 5.0 points to 133.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 103 to 72 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.42% or 0.67 to $48.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.41% or 0.71 to hit $50.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.14 to trade at $1224.04 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.34% to 9.3412, while USD/NOK fell 0.36% to 8.5929.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 99.47.
