Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Transport and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG), which rose 5.06% or 1.54 points to trade at 32.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) added 3.20% or 4.50 points to end at 145.00 and Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OL:DETNOR) was up 1.97% or 1.85 points to 95.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 5.94% or 0.09 points to trade at 1.44 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 5.53% or 0.34 points to end at 5.81 and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) was down 5.00% or 1.5 points to 28.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 112 to 57 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) rose to all time highs; rising 3.20% or 4.50 to 145.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.80% or 0.90 to $49.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.82% or 0.92 to hit $49.73 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.51% or 19.45 to trade at $1272.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.10% to 9.3552, while USD/NOK rose 0.38% to 8.3073.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.36% at 94.02.
