Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO), which rose 3.19% or 3.60 points to trade at 116.60 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 2.76% or 3.40 points to end at 126.80 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) was up 2.40% or 3.05 points to 130.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 5.54% or 0.32 points to trade at 5.42 at the close. Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) declined 0.99% or 2.85 points to end at 284.90 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) was down 0.91% or 10.00 points to 1,088.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 142 to 141 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.15% or 0.11 to $73.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.30% or 0.23 to hit $77.43 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 10.20 to trade at $2,540.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.10% to 11.69, while USD/NOK rose 0.22% to 10.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 101.24.
