Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Auto & components, Transport and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO), which rose 7.25% or 2.700 points to trade at 39.639 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 2.99% or 0.160 points to end at 5.510 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was up 2.84% or 0.48 points to 17.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 6.38% or 3.86 points to trade at 56.64 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 2.94% or 1.22 points to end at 40.30 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was down 1.67% or 7.40 points to 435.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 116 to 89 and 31 ended unchanged.
Shares in Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.94% or 1.22 to 40.30.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.23% or 0.69 to $56.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.16% or 0.76 to hit $66.50 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 7.95 to trade at $1291.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.76% to 9.7468, while USD/NOK fell 0.76% to 8.6697.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 97.162.
