Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Diversified Financials, Telecoms and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 9.41% or 0.600 points to trade at 6.920 at the close. Meanwhile, Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 3.43% or 7.8 points to end at 235.3 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was up 1.86% or 0.65 points to 35.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aker ASA (OL:AKER), which fell 1.84% or 9.2 points to trade at 490.8 at the close. Elkem ASA (OL:ELK) declined 1.56% or 0.38 points to end at 24.02 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was down 1.45% or 7.00 points to 476.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 102 to 100 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.29% or 0.17 to $59.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.21% or 0.14 to hit $65.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.45 to trade at $1412.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.22% to 9.6988, while USD/NOK rose 0.31% to 8.5384.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 95.787.
