Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Diversified Financials, Banking and Auto & components sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 3.33% or 13.40 points to trade at 416.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 2.91% or 3.00 points to end at 106.00 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was up 2.90% or 12.40 points to 439.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 4.00% or 0.80 points to trade at 19.20 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 2.47% or 1.18 points to end at 50.00 and Aker ASA (OL:AKER) was down 2.34% or 15.0 points to 625.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 117 to 92 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.12% or 0.07 to $59.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $67.19 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.58% or 20.75 to trade at $1296.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.03% to 9.6969, while USD/NOK rose 0.10% to 8.6347.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 96.722.
