Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 1.27% or 4.6 points to trade at 367.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 1.19% or 0.70 points to end at 59.50 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was up 0.95% or 2.80 points to 297.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which fell 6.20% or 4.3 points to trade at 64.7 at the close. Nel ASA (OL:NEL) declined 3.86% or 0.210 points to end at 5.230 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was down 3.32% or 1.46 points to 42.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 104 to 104 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $55.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.48% or 0.31 to hit $65.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.35 to trade at $1328.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.04% to 9.7597, while USD/NOK fell 0.22% to 8.5775.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 96.028.
