Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Auto & components and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS), which rose 1.60% or 2.2 points to trade at 140.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 1.13% or 3.80 points to end at 339.60 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) was up 0.79% or 1.4 points to 173.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC), which fell 1.22% or 1.5 points to trade at 121.0 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) declined 1.13% or 3.5 points to end at 306.4 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was down 1.10% or 0.54 points to 48.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 95 to 88 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) rose to all time highs; rising 1.13% or 3.80 to 339.60.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.80% or 0.57 to $72.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.66% or 0.53 to hit $81.32 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.96% or 11.50 to trade at $1187.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.24% to 9.4988, while USD/NOK rose 0.32% to 8.1376.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 94.42.
