Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS), which rose 7.29% or 0.6 points to trade at 9.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 5.53% or 0.97 points to end at 18.52 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was up 4.93% or 7.1 points to 151.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 8.07% or 1.6 points to trade at 17.8 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 7.63% or 0.09 points to end at 1.03 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was down 2.51% or 5.9 points to 228.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 80 to 64 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.46% or 0.22 to $48.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.60% or 0.30 to hit $50.49 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.20% or 2.65 to trade at $1314.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.23% to 8.9491, while USD/NOK rose 0.02% to 7.9833.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 95.67.
