Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Software & Computer Services and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 2.09% or 0.02 points to trade at 1.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) added 1.33% or 1.10 points to end at 83.60 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) was up 1.18% or 1.7 points to 145.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which fell 4.35% or 1.53 points to trade at 33.92 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 3.65% or 2.45 points to end at 64.75 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was down 3.02% or 0.32 points to 10.28.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 109 to 66 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.10% or 0.57 to $51.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.51% or 0.88 to hit $57.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 7.63 to trade at $1290.63 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.37% to 9.4171, while USD/NOK fell 0.10% to 7.9526.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 93.02.
