Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Commercial Service And Supplies and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 1.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 3.87% or 1.26 points to trade at 33.79 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 3.20% or 7.2 points to end at 232.0 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 2.88% or 0.44 points to 15.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 3.47% or 0.210 points to trade at 5.695 at the close. Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) declined 1.33% or 1.30 points to end at 96.60 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was down 1.22% or 0.80 points to 64.86.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 127 to 92 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.37% or 1.76 to $53.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.77% or 1.08 to hit $62.02 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 9.45 to trade at $1352.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.09% to 9.7878, while USD/NOK rose 0.02% to 8.7360.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 97.107.
