Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Auto & components, Materials and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 1.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC), which rose 4.04% or 4.7 points to trade at 120.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) added 3.70% or 13.5 points to end at 378.5 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 3.27% or 0.04 points to 1.19 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 71.10 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 0.11% or 0.01 points to end at 9.04 and Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) was up 0.12% or 0.10 points to 86.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 109 to 71 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $57.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.28% or 0.18 to hit $63.41 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 8.30 to trade at $1265.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.08% to 9.8415, while USD/NOK fell 0.59% to 8.3390.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 93.10.
