Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Utilities, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Capital Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 1.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 3.70% or 4.50 points to trade at 126.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) added 3.27% or 6.30 points to end at 199.00 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 3.12% or 2.2 points to 72.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 5.86% or 11.80 points to trade at 189.40 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) declined 0.46% or 1.40 points to end at 304.20 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was down 0.12% or 0.05 points to 42.64.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 130 to 51 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.70% or 4.50 to 126.10. Shares in Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) rose to 5-year highs; rising 3.27% or 6.30 to 199.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.22% or 0.16 to $71.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.35% or 0.28 to hit $81.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.40 to trade at $1231.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.17% to 9.4249, while USD/NOK fell 0.30% to 8.1290.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 94.65.
