Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Auto & components and Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.99% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC), which rose 2.08% or 2.4 points to trade at 117.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 1.97% or 1.0 points to end at 51.9 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 1.86% or 4.20 points to 229.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which fell 1.88% or 0.23 points to trade at 12.02 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 1.27% or 0.21 points to end at 16.30 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was down 1.02% or 1.50 points to 145.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 98 to 78 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.35% or 0.64 to $48.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.09% or 0.05 to hit $53.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.98% or 13.25 to trade at $1337.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.80% to 9.3879, while USD/NOK rose 1.40% to 7.8476.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 91.83.
