Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Materials and Consumer Durables And Apparel sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.92%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG), which rose 2.79% or 3.70 points to trade at 136.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) added 2.64% or 0.90 points to end at 34.97 and Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OL:DETNOR) was up 2.59% or 1.95 points to 77.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 6.70% or 0.14 points to trade at 1.94 at the close. Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) declined 1.33% or 0.1 points to end at 9.7 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) was down 0.90% or 0.2 points to 25.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 97 to 75 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.96% or 0.46 to $48.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.46% or 0.22 to hit $48.57 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.63% or 20.45 to trade at $1231.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.61% to 9.3100, while USD/NOK rose 0.06% to 8.3543.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.37% at 95.58.
