Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Diversified Financials and Capital Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.79% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 3.94% or 0.39 points to trade at 10.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 2.55% or 4.30 points to end at 173.20 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 2.32% or 8.8 points to 387.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 2.61% or 6.1 points to trade at 227.3 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) declined 1.96% or 7.20 points to end at 360.70 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was down 1.35% or 0.7 points to 49.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 108 to 64 and 33 ended unchanged.
Shares in Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.55% or 4.30 to 173.20. Shares in Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.32% or 8.8 to 387.7.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.13% or 1.12 to $53.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.74% or 1.03 to hit $60.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.39 to trade at $1272.99 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.42% to 9.4796, while USD/NOK rose 0.18% to 8.1854.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 94.94.
