Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO), which rose 6.76% or 8.10 points to trade at 127.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) added 1.89% or 1.30 points to end at 70.00 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) was up 1.80% or 3.90 points to 220.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 1.72% or 0.10 points to trade at 5.49 at the close. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) declined 0.60% or 1.80 points to end at 300.00 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) was down 0.44% or 0.70 points to 158.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 161 to 120 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.00% or 0.78 to $77.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.58% or 0.47 to hit $80.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.81% or 20.30 to trade at $2,487.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.23% to 11.77, while USD/NOK fell 0.55% to 10.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 102.18.
