Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Auto & components, Telecoms and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.61% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 5.96% or 0.06 points to trade at 1.14 at the close. Meanwhile, DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 2.25% or 0.27 points to end at 12.29 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.64% or 0.8 points to 52.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 3.33% or 2.50 points to trade at 72.60 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) declined 1.44% or 2.10 points to end at 143.80 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was down 0.95% or 0.75 points to 78.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 103 to 74 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.25% or 0.27 to 12.29. Shares in Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.64% or 0.8 to 52.7.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.60% or 0.29 to $48.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.93% or 0.50 to hit $54.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.90 to trade at $1331.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.01% to 9.3720, while USD/NOK fell 0.17% to 7.8285.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 91.83.
