Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Utilities, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Diversified Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 5.31% or 0.89 points to trade at 17.56 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 3.27% or 0.170 points to end at 5.370 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 2.37% or 10.20 points to 440.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which fell 2.84% or 1.24 points to trade at 42.41 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) declined 0.96% or 2.60 points to end at 269.40 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was down 0.75% or 2.5 points to 332.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 105 to 75 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.82% or 0.96 to $51.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.16% or 0.72 to hit $61.38 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 6.05 to trade at $1312.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.61% to 9.8392, while USD/NOK rose 1.03% to 8.7243.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 96.843.
