Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Materials, Commercial Service And Supplies and Diversified Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 4.73% or 16.4 points to trade at 363.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 2.00% or 0.32 points to end at 16.35 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 1.71% or 0.68 points to 40.46 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which fell 5.21% or 0.62 points to trade at 11.28 at the close. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) declined 3.74% or 3.20 points to end at 82.30 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 2.27% or 5.3 points to 227.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 98 to 86 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.73% or 16.4 to 363.0.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.89% or 0.45 to $49.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.79% or 0.44 to hit $55.18 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.00% or 13.30 to trade at $1311.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.29% to 9.3495, while USD/NOK fell 0.16% to 7.8365.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 91.89.
