Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Auto & components, Commercial Service And Supplies and Food, Beverages & Tobacco sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.51% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 4.71% or 0.88 points to trade at 19.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) added 4.33% or 1.77 points to end at 42.64 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 3.54% or 4.5 points to 131.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which fell 2.16% or 0.25 points to trade at 11.30 at the close. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) declined 1.13% or 0.90 points to end at 78.75 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) was down 0.92% or 1.5 points to 161.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 91 to 84 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.13% or 0.59 to $51.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.90% or 0.52 to hit $57.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.04 to trade at $1287.76 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.24% to 9.3628, while USD/NOK fell 0.03% to 7.9503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 93.08.
