Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD), which rose 3.92% or 5.55 points to trade at 147.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) added 2.96% or 0.41 points to end at 14.07 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) was up 2.82% or 3.85 points to 140.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which fell 1.54% or 4.80 points to trade at 306.30 at the close. Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) declined 1.07% or 1.20 points to end at 111.40 and Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) was down 0.77% or 0.65 points to 83.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 184 to 99 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) fell to 3-years lows; falling 1.54% or 4.80 to 306.30.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.44% or 0.34 to $78.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.49% or 0.40 to hit $82.32 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 15.75 to trade at $2,342.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.83% to 11.39, while USD/NOK fell 1.76% to 10.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.24% at 103.89.
