Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Transport and Auto & components sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 7.21% or 4.30 points to trade at 63.90 at the close. Meanwhile, BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO) added 4.90% or 1.850 points to end at 39.600 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 4.63% or 4.8 points to 108.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 2.83% or 1.26 points to trade at 43.24 at the close. Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) declined 0.92% or 1.6 points to end at 167.2 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was down 0.81% or 2.9 points to 355.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 109 to 94 and 40 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.58% or 0.33 to $56.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.11% or 0.07 to hit $65.93 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1286.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.13% to 9.8042, while USD/NOK rose 0.13% to 8.6721.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 96.810.
